- Former WWE creative team member Seth Mates posted a story about Steve Austin taking himself out of WrestleMania 18 main event in his latest blog at Newsday.com

"The main event of WrestleMania 18 in Toronto was supposed to be Triple H winning the title from Stone Cold Steve Austin. But coming off the Alliance storyline, Stone Cold insisted on being turned face again, effectively talking himself out of the main event of WrestleMania. It might have been a merchandise thing, I'm not sure, but the plan, as I understand it, would have seen Austin hold the title thru Mania (rather than lose it to Chris Jericho at Vengeance) and defend against HHH in a Battle of the Two-Man Power Trip. So instead, we get the HHH/Stephanie divorce storyline. Yuck." Mates said..

- Melina was legitimately injured tonight on Raw during her match with Mickie James against Natalya & Victoria. While on the top rope, Melina was knocked off by Victoria and landed awkwardly on the outside. Mickie immediately went to her aid asking her if she was alright. Jack Doane then gave the producer the “X” symbol and she was carried to the locker room. We will have more details on her injury as soon as we hear more.

- WWE has confirmed a WWE Tag Team Title match and a WWE Women's Title match for the upcoming Night of Champions pay-per-view. Below is the updated card:

- The Undertaker is scheduled to come back around mid-July. He will continue his feud with Edge and face him at SummerSlam. Undertaker took time off to heal injuries and build his angle with Edge. WWE announced Friday that Mike Mondo has been released from his contract.
Mondo, real name Michael Brendli, was arrested earlier this month for a DUI. The wrestler tested for a blood alcohol content level of .094 and then .091, both of which are above the .08 legal limit in Florida.
Formerly of the Spirit Squad, the wrestler had been working in Florida Championship Wrestling as Mighty Mikey. His arrest marked the third DUI incident in recent memory for WWE performers in Florida; Ted DiBiase, Jr. and Santino Marella had also been charged with driving over the legal limit. - Rey Mysterio is set to make his return very shortly. He has been cleared to wrestle, but is taking a little more time off for the company to prepare his return. Mysterio has been out for moth with biceps injuries.
- In other another injury update, WWE Diva Candice Michelle is scheduled for a M.R.I next week on her collarbone.
If the M.R.I is clean, she can start training for her return, which could be around Summerslam. Michelle suffered her injury before Wrestlemania, which sidelined her during that event. Credit: PWInsider.com
